| Custom Upholstery I've been doing upholstery for years in the Stratford area, and could be busy at it full time. However, my first love has always been designing furniture and working with wood. I am somewhat selective about the upholstery projects I take on, depending on how busy I am, how long I think the project will take, and how much room it takes up while I'm doing it! Of course, on any new furniture order, the upholstery is done right here in my shop rather than sending it off to somebody else. If I get too busy, my dear mother helps out, because she's really the professional that taught me everything she knows for the last 30 some years. |
| Custom Furniture Design Designing something just for you is one of the most challenging (and rewarding) things we do at Granite Ridge Furnishings. We like to sit down with you and talk about what you think looks good, what size furniture works in the room you have, what stain color you like best, and what special touches will make this project uniquely yours. It works the best if you can provide a picture (either from the internet or a catalogue) so we have a place to start. From there, we work with you to change the project to meet your needs and fulfill your dreams. If the idea you have is only in your head, a sketch scratched out on scrap paper is a welcome help. We work with whatever you have (or don't have). |
